Montréal, Wednesday, May 7, 2025 – MCEE Expo was back at the Palais des congrès de Montréal on April 24 and 25, 2025, welcoming some 8,000 visitors and hosting 355 exhibitors showing new products and recent technologies on the venue’s 66,000 sq.ft. of floor space. These statistics fully confirm the expo’s position as Canada’s largest trade show for the building mechanical, electrical and lighting industry.
Furthermore, the New Products Showcase was a big draw for visitors, featuring 87 products characterized by sustainable development, energy efficiency, efficient water usage and innovation. Winners of the New Products Competition were chosen by a jury of industry experts. For 82% of visitors, these innovations were their main reason for attending MCEE Expo.
“With the new products competition, topical seminars, live product presentations and wide variety of exhibitors, each edition of MCEE Expo confirms its ranking as the benchmark event for the Canadian industry,” said CMMTQ General Manager Steve Boulanger.
“With this second edition taking place at Montréal’s premier convention venue, MCEE Expo has shown that now more than ever, it is a key forum for visitors and exhibitors to share knowledge and discoveries of products that meet the global need for climate change solutions. I would take this opportunity to thank the MCEE Expo organizing committee and the personnel of the CIPH, CMMTQ, CMEQ and CETAF. By pooling their resources and talents, they created an impactful exhibition. I would also like to thank the MCEE Expo’s committee chair Denis Beauchamp of Beauchamp Babin et associés Inc. for his dedication throughout the organization of this major event,” added Satinder Chera, general manager of the CIPH.
“We are already hard at work planning the 2027 edition of the show, which we guarantee will have its share of surprises and new features for the enjoyment of exhibitors and visitors alike,” added Steve Boulanger.

2027 edition
The next edition of MCEE Expo takes place April 14 and 15, 2027, at Palais des congrès de Montréal. Kiosk space bookings will start in early 2026.
